Features Of MP3 Wireless Speakers
When you’re thinking of buying mp3 player speakers, there’s a huge amount to think about; and if you’ve never purchased a decent set of speakers before, it can be a little confusing.
There are so many variations available, that I couldn’t list them all here. However, by checking a few main points, you can ensure you’ll pick a quality set of speakers.
- Firstly, and very importantly, you need to look at the power rating of the speaker. Every sound system has an amplifier, and that amplifier has a maximum output power. If the maximum output power is greater than the power rating of the speakers, you run the risk of damaging them. Unless you’re buying speakers and amplifier in a set, always ensure that the power ratings match up.
- The sensitivity rating: Here, in very general terms, the greater this value is, the better. It’s technically the air pressure the loud speaker can produce from a set amount of power. The higher this is, the louder the speaker will go from a smaller power input from the amp.
- Extremely important to check is the frequency response. People can hear only a certain range of frequencies. When we’re children, the range is generally accepted as being between 20 Hz and 20 KHz. As we get older, this does decrease slightly. However, a good way to judge a speaker is how well its frequency response matches the 20 Hz to 20 KHz range. The closer, the better and more balanced the audio will sound.
There’s a whole range of other variables that can improve the speakers: Are they wireless speakers? Are they moisture resistant? Do they have individual bass and treble controls? These can all be important; however, if you choose the power, frequency response and sensitivity wisely, you should end up with a great set of speakers.
