It used to be that you could only get free samples, while you were shopping. Whether at your local grocery store or at the mall, you would sometimes be lucky enough to get a freebie from someone promoting a new product. These people are sent to various stores to help boost public appeal of their new lines. Aside from that the only way you would be able request free samples was by writing a letter to a specific manufacturer. Essentially, it was a lot of work and hardly worth your time.

Nowadays, with the growing popularity of the internet, it is much easier to find and request these free samples. All you need is to do a quick search online and there are a slew of websites and blogs who are either giving samples out themselves, or writing about sites that are. There are so many sites that are sole devoted to freebies and finding, requesting these samples that, if you are looking for them, it is hard NOT to find them. The only exceptions to this rule are free cosmetics. For some reason or another, companies who manufacturer makeup don’t seem to feel the need to promote their products via free sample advertising.

This is why, if you are looking for cosmetic samples, I would advise you to completely skip searching for them and go right to the source. Almost every makeup company has a website with a club, newsletter or some sort of program that can be joined by the general public. What happens when you join up with these clubs is that you are constantly up to date with all the current promotions that these companies have. As soon as there is a free sample or printable coupon available, you will receive an email with a link to the page on the site that is hosting that promotion.

This makes finding makeup samples online a breeze and cuts out all most all of the work. Once you are signed up, you are all set and there is nothing else that you need to do.
