MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid foundation is an oil-free formula that is meant to last as long as your day does. It comes with SPF 15 protection so it not only makes your skin look great but it protects it as well. Here’s a quick makeup tip: I usually apply with my own finger tip or maybe a brush because using sponges often leaves more on the sponge than on your face, and at $26.00 a bottle, we definitely don’t want to be wasteful.

After comes the pressed power, or MAC’s Studio Fix Powder Plus; this is also meant to last all day and can be reapplied as needed. This product is the perfect way to top of the fluid foundation because they work so well blending together and forming a gorgeous finish. Another makeup tip here is to apply the pressed power with a face brush like MAC’s number 134, the full round Powder Brush. By using a brush instead of a sponge you again put more on your skin and waste less, but you also get to keep your face cleaner. This is because after so many applications the powder sponge picks up dirt and oil and when you go back to reapply, it may be leaving more than just fresh powder on your skin. If brushes aren’t your thing then just make sure to wash or replace this sponge periodically.
