Working Out With Wireless Earphones

Do you like to work out and listen to music? You have a lot of choices in what you use to listen to it if you have a portable mp3 player. If you have regular earbuds you may know the frustrating feeling of having them fall out when the wire gets tangled in something. Being wired for sound always presents the issue of being tethered to a device you cannot wander away from. If the device is strapped to your arm, its wires that may or may not get in your way while you are working out. These kinds of problems are a thing of the past if you have wireless earbphones.

A few wireless earbud models are connected by a crescent shaped device that is worn around the head. They are built to stand up to harsh conditions like high workout intensity and inclement weather. This means they will stay on the head during intense exercise and are not ruined if you get caught out in the rain or sweat a lot.

If your mp3 player and cell phone is Bluetooth enabled than wireless earphones can be simple to get working and provide you with some interesting options. With the right set of earbuds you can listen to music and easily switch to using the phone, typically by pressing a single button. This is a nice feature if you are someone that uses the phone a lot but also likes to listen to music.

One potential downside with wireless earphones is the price. The alternative wireless technology, besides Bluetooth, is called Kleer. The company that developed and licenses Kleer must require a hefty payment for its use, as all the products that use this technology are pricey. I paid hundreds of dollars for my earbuds and there are a few other choices I could have made that were even more expensive. Since I have a few sets of earphones in the past, that is my biggest worry – that I will lose them and my investment. It could be pretty easy to misplace the earbuds since they are not connected to anything.
